Hon. Mr. Rajiv Vasantrao Pharate Patil (Saheb)

Pharate Patil Group of Institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University &approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, AICTE, DTE, MSBTE and Government of Maharashtra. From being a part of agriculture family in a small village of Mandavgan Pharata district Pune has never affected my dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur. My vision was always cleared of contributing a huge in the field of education and academics. After my schooling and higher education, I established the ‘Shri Wagheshwar Gramvikas Pratishthan in the year 2008’. The zest of building a better nation uplifted me to establish reputed education Institutes in Pune which is focused on professional and higher education in Arts, Commerce, Science, Pharmacy and Schools. Being The Founder Chairman and Managing Trustee of SWGP, it’s my responsibility to provide the best education to Native Territory and make them good mentor in their social life.

Inspired by the ideals of ‘Savitribai Phule and ‘Mahatma Phule’ with a deep desire to help students which belongs to rural area and economically poor; an idea of ‘Shri Wagheshwar Gramvikas Pratishthan’ was conceived in the year 2008. The motto is truly to make student’s skillful, knowledgeable, leader and challenger to meet the needs of the industries, institutes and organizations.
We have Beautiful and serene campus encompassing best of infrastructure and facilities that fulfills respective norms of PCI, UGC, AICTE, DTE, MSBTE and several other regulatory bodies Furthermore our resource faculties have made a right platform to budding talent and motivation for an active participation of students in technical festivals/ conferences/ competitions and various initiative at Pharate Patil Group of institutions.

SWGP’s Shri Dadapatil Pharate College of Pharmacy has successfully marched into the Sixth year since it was affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2015.
Growing from a humble beginning in 2008, Pharate Patil Group of Institutions has a beautiful Campus, equipped with standard amenities, highly qualified faculty, sophisticated labs and memorandum of understanding with industries, research laboratory, organization and placements in top corporate conglomerates.
Innovative research in various field of pharmaceuticals and D. Pharm, B. Pharm and M. Pharm courses have been introduced which will greatly help to create an atmosphere essential for acquiring a high academic standard.
It is commendable that the LSDP has created modern infrastructure to make it possible for students to update their knowledge. The college is maintaining a balance between modern trends in pharmaceutical education and the enduring values of our nation.
My ambition is to make this college one among the top 10 colleges of the Maharashtra. I request all the stakeholders to be part of this journey and to strengthen our resolve to make LSDP a preferred global destination for Pharmaceutical education.

Knowing the value of this profession to humanity, our honorable Chairman, Mr. Rajiv V. Pharate Patil, a renowned Educationalist has established Shree Wagheshwar Gramvikas Pratishthan in the year 2008.The Pharmacy Institute Started in 2015 under SWGP to provide, dedicated Pharmacists to the World. The Institute has created a large number of Pharmacy professionals, diploma holders, and graduates, post graduates who are serving and shining in the society.
Education is not just memorizing the facts and getting grades, it is preparing the students for the FUTURE. The people who succeed has to be curious, innovative and resilient to adopt to new changes and creativity plays a major role in the leadership skills. I have been fortunate to associate myself with the Pharate Patil Group of Institutes as M. Pharm Coordinator from the early days of its incubation. We have envisaged Pharate Patil Group of Institutes to steadily grow into a multi-disciplinary institute. The prime focus of our Institutes would be our students. We will work hard to make them capable, responsible citizens through best quality education and strong value system

As a M. Pharm Coordinator, My first responsibility is to co-ordinate with all different vertical of M. Pharm’s Departments like Pharmaceutical, Synthetic, Analytical, Bioanalytical, Ayurvedic and Pharmacological Projects & Planning development work for identified projects & monitoring work of development team on priority basis.In SWGP’s Loknete Shri Dadapatil Pharate College of Pharmacy, we will be focusing on our constituent PG Courses, so that we can offer very useful programmes to the students and professionals. The University believes in providing quality education by using technology with high academic standards. We have excellent team members in our colleges to support the M. Pharm students in order to provide best education. Our earnest is not to offer any programme just as an added qualification or degree but to support the students to be successful in their life and profession.

We will be designing our programmes very carefully with the professional and renowned educationists in order to maintain the quality and global standards. I am fully aware that there exists an ample scope for us to enhance our standards to reach higher pinnacles of academic excellence. I am sure we would be able to achieve our objectives with cooperation of learned and experienced faculty members devoted to the overall development of students personality.

I want to assure the students that their life in the campus as student would be highly rewarded in terms of academic pursuit and filled with good human values. It is an exciting journey and I look forward to challenges, it brings as the accomplishments will give me great pride and satisfaction.
